SRHW gives 2009 Employee of the Year award to Colleen Jansma
Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington awarded the 2009 Employee of the Year award to Colleen Jansma on May 14th, 2010 during the annual National Hospital Week activities. Colleen received this award based on nominations from her co-workers. The award was presented by Jeff Rotert, COO.
Colleen began her employment at SRHW in June 2007 as the Office Coordinator for the Southwest Minnesota Radiation Center where she continues this role.
Colleen said “I was so surprised when I won the award! I love my job and really enjoy getting to know all of our patients! Our patients come to us at a time in their life where they need to be uplifted and encouraged. With the help of my co-workers we try to make each patient feel special.”
Colleen lives in Worthington with her husband Darryl. They have 2 teenage children – Bradley (16) and Ashley (14). In Colleen’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, boating, walking, reading and baking.
